Each student will have quality
attention as the workshops are small, between 3-7 persons. Covering
cake sculpture and modeling, these workshops are for the beginner through
to advanced students who wish to brush up their skills.
If you prefer, intensive one-to-one
tuition can be arranged on a mutually convenient date for
£250.00 per day, 10 am-4pm.
These workshops will cover any subject, including cake sculpture, modeling,
piping, sugar flowers, etc., and can be shared with a friend, or even
two. Please Email to enquire.
Unless otherwise stated, there are some requirements
for certain workshops. After booking details are usually sent 2-3 weeks
prior to the workshop. These requirements are usually a cake or cake
dummy, buttercream if using cake, a cake board, suitable box and around
2kg of sugarpaste. If you have any concerns about baking or supplying
any requirements then I can arrange them for you, just let me know when
confirming attendance.
Please also bring along you own lunch, but snacks, homemade cakes and
cookies are provided, along with tea, coffee, mineral water and juice.
My books on novelty cakes/modeling
can be purchased on the day, but if you already have them, you can bring
them along for personalisation or signature if you wish.

& 15 February - One day workshop Juliet figurine cake
sculpture. Come and sculpt this beautiful girl figurine and adapt
to your style with sparkles, lustres and add a tiara for a princess.

28 March - One day workshop Beetle Car sugar piece cake top.
Students will make the kissing couple sitting in a white Beetle car.
This can easily be adapted to suit any celebration. £100.00

& 10 May - One-day workshop Rose cake.
Students will cover a cake with rose petals and build up this stunning
full rose cake suitable for many celebrations. We will also make some
of the popular matching mini cakes.

May - One-day workshop Ganesh God sugar figure. Students
will model the complete Ganesh figure as a cake top. We will also
go through the basics of covering pillow-shaped cakes.

& 11 June - Two-day workshop Ganesh Wedding Cake. Students
will make this stylish figurine of the Hindu God Ganesh and sculpt
pillow cakes (base stand will be a provided cake dummy, if you wish
to make the remaining cakes in cake instead of using cake dummy then

June - One day workshop Bride & Groom figure models.
Always a popular workshop, students will learn the skills of successfully
building up standing figures, pose and realistic expressions.

& 28 June - Two day workshop wedding cake Top Hat, Parcels
and Mouse Party
Students will make this stunning wedding cake, easily adapted for
different looks as the presents and Top Hat alone make a stylish cake.
Learn valuable modelling skills when building up these dancing mice
with realistic looking movement.

& 5July - One day workshop Old Woman in the Shoe cake sculpture.
Students will learn how to sculpt this useful boot shape and decorate
into the famous nursery rhyme. Model cute and simple babies completing
this pretty cake. £100.00

& 9 August - Two-day workshop Butterfly Wedding Cake. Students
will make this complete wedding cake using cake or cake dummies (dummies
provided, if you prefer to use cake then please bring your own.) Make
these beautiful lace effect butterflies and arrange them to look as though
they are flying around the cake.

& 13 September - One-day workshop Cats cake and cake top.
Learn how to cover a cake, model these stylish and elegant cats and learn
painting skills to paint delicate patterns onto the surface of your cake.
Students will take home one beautifully painted and decorated cake with
these stylish cats on top.

& 25 October - Two-day workshop 60’s love Hippy Wedding
Cake. Make this fantastic fun wedding cake from start to finish complete
with fun Hippy couple adorning the top. We will use dummies (dummies provided,
if you prefer to use cake please bring your own)

& 15 November - One day workshop Fairy Castle. Make this
beautiful flower castle perfect for any special birthday girl or the techniques
can be adapted for a Wedding cake.

will model this beautiful baby figure model and to make it suitable for
a Christmas cake top add some stylish wrapped parcels in pretty pastel
colours around her.
