Each student will have quality
attention as the workshops are small, between 3-7 persons. Covering
cake sculpture and modeling, these workshops are for the beginner through
to advanced students who wish to brush up their skills.
If you prefer, intensive one-to-one
tuition can be arranged on a mutually convenient date for
£300.00 per day, 10 am-4pm.
These workshops will cover any subject, including cake sculpture, modeling,
piping, sugar flowers, etc., and can be shared with a friend, or even
two. Please Email to enquire.
Unless otherwise stated, there are some requirements
for certain workshops. After booking details are usually sent 2-3 weeks
prior to the workshop. These requirements are usually a cake or cake
dummy, buttercream if using cake, a cake board, suitable box and around
2kg of sugarpaste. If you have any concerns about baking or supplying
any requirements then I can arrange them for you, just let me know when
confirming attendance.
Please also bring along you own lunch, but snacks, homemade cakes and
cookies are provided, along with tea, coffee, mineral water and juice.
My books on novelty cakes/modeling
can be purchased on the day, but if you already have them, you can bring
them along for personalisation or signature if you wish.

January
23 or 24 – One day workshop - Sculpt from cake the
famous character Pingu, learning how to shave and sculpt successfully
and cover an unusual shape with sugarpaste, from ‘Children’s
Character Cakes’.

the wonderful Rainbow Magic Castle with its tall towers and pretty
rainbow, and make as many of the rainbow fairies as time permits,

the sunken pirate ship with its treasure of gold and jewels, from
‘Enchanting Magical Cakes’.

29 or 30 – One day workshop – Learn to cover
a cake successfully and use as a base for the pretty modelled figure
of Angelina Ballerina dancing in the stars and clouds, from
‘Children’s Character Cakes’.

10/11 –Two day workshop- Students will sculpt from
cake the ever popular Thomas the Tank Engine, complete with railway
track. This cake can be adapted into a basic train shape suitable
for many other designs, from
‘Children’s Character Cakes’.

castle from cake dummies and model the wonderful fire dragon from

modelling with realistic limbs and fantasy inspired detailed faces.

of mice dancing around a Christmas tree and use as a pretty cake top for
your Christmas cake.
